How do I find out any special events, dining options, activities for my vacation time?

Do any cottages allow pets?

We allow pets, you will need to send me a photo of the pet for approval and complete a pet waiver form.

Are watercraft provided with cottages?

We provide watercraft for you to enjoy including canoes, paddle boats. Unfortunately, no motorized boats are included with your cottage rental; however, I can recommend where you can arrange for one. .

Are life jackets available at the cottage?

While cottages have life jackets (PFD’s), we may not have all the correct sizes for everyone in your family/group, especially children. For safety, I recommend you bring along properly sized PFD’s for everyone in your family.

By law, there must be a Personal Floatation Device (PFD) for each person on board (sized according to each person’s age and weight) – this is for motorized and non-motorized watercraft.

Do I need a license to fish?

A valid fishing license is required by anyone between the ages of 18 and 64 years old. Those under 18 or 65 years or older are exempt. You can purchase your license at local stores, including Canadian Tire. .

What basic provisions are in the kitchen?

kitchen is fully equipped so you don’t need to bring anything other than your food!

Do we need to buy bottled water or is the tap water okay to drink?

Our Well is older and although the water is fine for showering/washing dishes etc., we don't suggest drinking the water directly. recommended bottle water/boiled water if required.

Is it possible to request early check-in and/or late check-out?

Check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out is 10:00 am. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs since we need to maintain a rigid schedule for our housekeeping teams to execute multiple turnover cleans in the hours between.

Are there directions to the cottage and how to enter, wifi code, etc?

We will provide directions, parking information and the smart lock passcode in a handy digital guidebook before your vacation don’t worry. You can share this with everyone in your family in case you drive separately and arrive at separate times. Wifi codes (if applicable) and instructions for any electronics is in the guidebook.

What do I do with garbage?

Garbage and Recycling must NOT be left at the property and therefore must be taken home with you
